A warm welcome to the Monte Rosa alpine hut

The road to us

Sustenance on the mountain

Staying overnight

The Monte Rosa Hut is open.

The Gornergrat railway is running on schedule.

The new path (Panoramaweg) is open and well marked. There are still a few snowfields on the glacier, which can be bypassed. From the glacier to the hut there are still small snowfields to cross.

The old path is open, well marked and free of snow.

We recommend the new path (Panoramaweg) as the approach to the hut and the old path as the descent.

As both routes goes over the glacier, we recommend taking glacier equipment with you.

High tours Dufour, Nordend, Grenzgletscher to Signalkuppe, Zumsteinspitze, Lyskamm crossing great conditions and groomed.
