The Monte Rosa hut is open.
We extend the ski touring season for one week, the hut is open until 19.05.24.
The conditions in the Monte Rosa massif are currently TOP (Dufour, Nordend, Grenzgletscher, Signalkuppe, Castor, Zwillingsgletscher, Felikhorn, Fillarhorn, Cima di Jazzi etc.)
We recommend the access from kl. Matterhorn via Schwarztor.
Access from Rotenboden- Saaser Lücke 3150m- Hut is possible.
We no longer recommend the Gorner Gorge to Furi (summer path), as it is very difficult to cross the river.
We recommend descending via Saaser Lücke- Stockhornpass- Grünsee- Riffelalp or Saaser Lücke 3150müM- Rotenboden.

The hut is open
The hut wardens Kili and Richi with team are welcoming you.
Emergency Room is closed
During the unattended period, only one Emergency Room with 12 sleeping places is open. Overnight stays in this room require you to bring the usual bivouac equipment (cooker, cooking utensils and sleeping bag). Mattresses, blankets and Tableware are available.
Reservations must be made online.
